Prostatitis means your prostate may be inflamed or irritated, coupled with a burning urination feeling triggered to go more frequent. For some, a fever or tiredness comes along with it.

However, most of the time, bacteria is not the cause of prostatitis. As such, other possible inflammation contributors are considered, possibly a kidney stone or cancer.
Only after all possible causes for your prostate inflammation or urinary problems have been ruled out, then you may be left with a diagnosis of non bacterial prostatitis.
