A fever is when you body’s temperature is higher than normal, and its treatment depends on the cause of this fever. A fever is not an illness, and a fever of 104 and above is considered high.

- overdressed in hot weather or a hot environment
- inflammatory bowel disease ~ Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis
- upper respiratory infections ~ tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis
- antibiotics, antihistamines, barbiturates, hypertension medication
