Other scientists believe that foods cause headaches by triggering an allergic reaction in susceptible people.
Either way, consider the foods you eat before an attack to help determine if there is a pattern between a food and your headaches. If so, your relief is through not eating it.
While a food caused migraine usually occurs soon after eating, other triggers may not cause immediate pain. Some headaches may result from a delayed reaction to stress.
